The Sea Over Eli | Names in the Pavement HEY YOU! Yeah, you. Do you like music? Do you like supporting indie bands? Do you like being a hipster and knowing about bands before anyone else has heard of them? Of course you do, you’re on tumblr! Then you should be totally awesome and check out my cousin’s band The Sea Over Eli. They’re pretty cool, and they’re releasing an album sometime next month. Here is the link to their Facebook page; it would be awfully nice if you liked it! :) |
Just found out about Slow Club’s new album today. Not sure if I like it as much as Yeah So but it’s still lovely. I think ‘Two Cousins’ is my favorite song so far, and the two dancers in this video are fabulous.

My cousin Graham and his friend Blake (1/2 of the Sea Over Eli) performing at a bar in Madison, CT. If you like what you hear, please reblog/share! :) I think it’s pretty cool that we have a ~musician in the family so I’m kind of trying to help promote his band, haha.
So this summer my cousin and his friend have been staying in the house next door to us; they both go to CalArts and they’re in a band called the Sea Over Eli. Today they came over and we all sat on the porch and listened to them jam for a while and they actually sounded pretty sweet. I’m hoping maybe I can film them a bit while I’m here and get some stuff up on youtube, if they’ll let me, ‘cause they’ve got an album coming out in October, I believe. ANYWAYS they’ve only got a few songs up online, so you should give ‘em a listen! :)
